Com­mis­sioned by the Friedrich-Ebert-Foun­da­tion in recent years, we at d|part have repeat­ed­ly turned to the analy­sis of how young peo­ple in Ger­many vot­ed in the last fed­er­al elec­tions as well as in the last Euro­pean elec­tions and towards the ques­tion what was impor­tant for them in the run-up to the elec­tions. Among oth­ers we want­ed to find out what moti­vat­ed young peo­ple to vote, what issues were impor­tant to them or what demands do they have on gov­ern­ment action? We have answered such ques­tions in our var­i­ous publications.
