Youth Electoral Studies with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung
As part of several commissions from the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, we at d|part have analysed several times in recent years how young people in Germany voted in the respective Bundestag and European elections and what was important to them in the run-up to the election.
Introduction
What motivated young people to vote? What issues were important to them or what demands and expectations do they have of government action? We analysed such questions on behalf of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung before several Bundestag and European elections in 2019 and published the results in various publications.
