Besides a bet­ter under­stand­ing of polit­i­cal par­tic­i­pa­tion, our research results are also active­ly applied in prac­tice by reach­ing out to dif­fer­ent tar­get groups and inform­ing them. Based on our sound empir­i­cal find­ings, we devel­op rec­om­men­da­tions for action to strength­en polit­i­cal par­tic­i­pa­tion and advise civ­il and polit­i­cal actors such as foun­da­tions, munic­i­pal­i­ties, polit­i­cal par­ties, and ministries.

Fur­ther­more, we car­ry out sci­en­tif­ic eval­u­a­tions and   mea­sur­ing the impact of exist­ing pro­grammes aimed to pro­mote democ­ra­cy and polit­i­cal edu­ca­tion. In this way, we sup­port our project part­ners in bet­ter under­stand­ing and improv­ing the out­comes of their work as well as the chal­lenges and poten­tial bar­ri­ers with­in their pro­grammes. In addi­tion, we organ­ise events in var­i­ous for­mats such as brief­in­gs, work­shops, round­ta­bles, pub­lic pan­el dis­cus­sions, or pre­sen­ta­tions. Apart from that, we sup­port organ­i­sa­tions in devel­op­ing and imple­ment­ing high qual­i­ty research projects in coop­er­a­tion with us.
