Dr. Götz Frommholz

Götz is a co-founder and Managing Director of d|part. He has worked as a Senior Policy Analyst in the Open Society – Europe and Central Asia Program. Previously, he was with the Open Society European Policy Institute (OSEPI), where he supported the EU advocacy of the Open Society Foundations (OSF) in Germany. Before his role at OSF, Götz served as a research associate at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
In addition to his analytical work, Götz teaches research methods, political science, and sociology at universities.
Götz has a background in sociology, studied at Bielefeld University, and earned his PhD from the University of Edinburgh.
His work reflects a commitment to applying academic insights in practice. The experiences he has gained at various educational institutions and in political communication provide him with a unique perspective that he brings to both his political work and teaching.
