Neele Eilers

Research Fellow - d|part

Neele is a Research Fellow at d|part, leading the current research project on political attitudes of European publics ahead of the 2024 European Parliament elections. Her research focuses critically on issues of inequality, transformations of pluralistic societies, and anti-democratic attitudes, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods. At d|part she has been researching issues around public attitudes and elections, democratic innovations and European politics.

Neele studied Political Science in Berlin and London. She holds a master’s degree in International Relations from Free University of Berlin, Humboldt University, and Potsdam University as well as SOAS University of London; and a bachelor’s degree in Political science and Sociology from the University of Bonn.

She has gained significant experience through her work in public service, academic research, and various international foundations and civil society organisations. These practical experiences along with her long-time social engagement have shaped her commitment to advancing access to political participation and fostering more equitable and inclusive societal processes.
